As many of you know by now Crimson Truth, the band, has disbanded.  Some of the reasons were very simple.  Busy schedules, new additions to families, work, etc.  All these things take their toll on on a group such as ours.  In addition, the vision for the band's direction and operation was being seen differently by each member.    It became clear recently that the best idea for the members of Crimson Truth would be to go ahead and pursue the paths that God was leading them individually down.

It is always hard when a band breaks up.  Even in the best of circumstances there is a strain on member relations and professional dealings.  Crimson Truth has decided to cancel the remainder of their shows as the members had conflicts with various show details. 

Crimson Truth has always worked to conduct themselves with the utmost professionalism whether it be in booking shows, performing, creating music, etc.  We are sorry for any inconvenience that these cancellations has caused to any of the concert hosts.  In the past two years, over 20 shows, and two BIRTHS, this has never happened!  I am sure that with the new projects this standard of professionalism will continue.

So what does the future hold for the members of Crimson Truth? 

Drew and Brian will continue to perform.  They are not certain how the project will take shape, but you can be certain that it will contain some monster guitar shredding, and bombastic drumming.  Look for both Brian and Drew on MySpace.   Drew has his own page and is also playing with If Looks Could Kill.  Brian has a personal page as well as a page featuring his solo music.  Both can be accessed through MySpace.com/crimsontruth.  Of course you will be able to find links here as well that will update you on Brian and Drew.

Jason will be continuing to pursue music through the ministry of Crimson Truth.  You will be able to continue to come to www.crimsontruth.com for updates.  However, this will no longer be his band's name, but to serve as the moniker for a series of projects.

Jason started in 1997 with Tribe 13.  This band would eventually become the Crimson Truth you know today.  The music has evolved as well as the members, but the mission has been the same: To share the Gospel of Jesus Christ through music.

Jason has always worn many hats and loves to diversify, which is what Crimson Truth Ministries evolve into at this point in time.  Look for other featured performers, a new band, recording, concert promotions, as well as speakers to be featured and promoted through Crimson Truth Ministries.

Crimson Truth Ministries will also be promoting the Mountain Empires best local Christian talent in cooperation with MECRA.
